A Guide to Transforming Your Kitchen Into a Modern Space

Modern white kitchens have become a staple in the design world. Many design styles come and go, but this style still remains timeless! Over the years, we have worked on multiple stunning white kitchen designs and are going to go through some of our favourite projects and discuss some of our tips to help create a breathtaking space!

Offset white cabinetry with appliances and wood accents

One design trend we love in white kitchens is to offset the white colour with your appliances or wood accents. Above we have three examples of using dark appliances or natural wood tones to frame your kitchen. Both these approaches are a great way to create stunning contrast.

Take advantage of unique stone

Our personal favourite trend for white kitchens is using natural stone for a striking design element. For these two kitchens, our team installed Irah Budapest and Delicatus Extra granite and the result was stunning! These two slabs were a great way to add an exotic look to the overall kitchen due to their unique flecks of colour and veins throughout.

White cabinetry with black countertops

You can never go wrong with installing black and bold stone on your countertops! Pairing this with white cabinets is a great way to create a modern and luxurious look. The photos above showcase Brilliant Black quartzite and Smoke quartzite. These slabs are both an excellent way to add drama and convey a more serious tone to your space.

Add a splash of colour

Using your kitchen island or cabinetry to add a splash of colour to your space is another great idea! Whether you use lighter colours to create a bright and airy space or a bold dark colour for a more dramatic look, your island and cabinet colour is the perfect way to elevate your kitchen! Some of our favourite clean and sleek slabs to help pull off a statement island are Irah Carrara Grey and Irah Bianco quartz!
